Here you will find videos from live performances, as well as the official videos that accompany some of the tracks on my CDs.

Here’s a collage of Irving Berlin’s songs from our “Between Berlin & Bebop” show, which we performed at Jazz Dock on March 3rd. It was such a pleasure to work with such talented colleagues! Between Berlin & Bebop featured Taras Voloscuk on bass, Osian Roberts on tenor sax, Martin Šulc on drums, trombonist Přemysl Tomšíček, and Martin Jůzl on trumpet. We are planning on touring this show, to spotlight America’s greatest songwriter, Irving Berlin. Contact me at jazz@barboratellinger.com for more information.

The following are videos from the latest Tellinger & Fresk album, “As Long As You’re Living.”

Here is one of Barbora’s more well-known original compositions, “Please Acknowledge,” performed live in concert and featured on both the “Live 2012” CD and on the “Live At The Musaion” CD.

Another original composition: “River Of Despair.” This is featured on the Tellinger & Fresk CD, “Deuce.”

Duke Ellington’s great standard, “It Don’t Mean A Thing,” performed live by Barbora and her University Of Pretoria Jazz Ensemble, and featured on the “Live 2012” CD.

My original composition. This had some serious airplay at one point in South Africa and this is our duo take on it. Part of our Lockdown Countdown series.

Here’s the second installment of our casual Lockdown Countdown. Barbora sings a gorgeous old ballad, “Trouble Is A Man,” which Peggy Lee recorded in 1946.

Here’s our next installment of the Lockdown Countdown: a song from “As Long As You’re Living,” the latest Tellinger & Fresk album. The song is “Better Than Anything” and there’s no better way to start your day 😉

See you LIVE and let us know if you’re planning a trip to this magnificent city. Enjoy! Well, that was May 2020. We all know what’s happened since then.

This was a video from a fan. It didn’t capture the whole of “Bye Bye Blackbird,” but it definitely caught the infectious groove of the song. Red Tin Roof, Riebeek Kasteel, South Africa. 2017.

Another video by a fan. You will find the studio version of “A Sleeping Bee” with bass and drums on the latest Tellinger & Fresk album, As Long As You’re Living.

Here are some videos of live performances at the Musaion at the University of Pretoria.

A lock down, trans-continental collaborative piece. Jonathan Taylor, old friend and guitarist, wrote the basic song and sent the guitar track to us from Johannesburg. With the help of possibly too much wine, I wrote the melody and lyrics and John recorded my vocals and played bass and piano. The video consists of some choice travel photos, from the various places we have called home. I like the way it turned out.

I’m featured on this TV program from SABC, singing You’re My World:

The early days. Myself, Steve Walsh and Lana Green on the All You Need Is Love show.
